About Click Portrait Experiences
Click Portrait Experiences works with a network of independent professional photography studios across the UK, offering a range of photography experiences for individuals, couples, families, children, babies and pets.
Not every participating studio offers every type of Click Portrait Experience. Availability will depend on the facilities, services, specialisms and location of your chosen or allocated studio.
Each participating studio is an independently owned and operated business. Studios may therefore have their own additional booking terms and conditions, including policies relating to deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, viewing appointments, image purchases and collection or delivery of products.
Any studio-specific terms that apply to your booking should be communicated to you by the studio before your photography session takes place. Where appropriate, you may be asked to accept those terms as part of the booking process.
Please check the details of your particular offer, voucher or promotion carefully, as the exact contents and value of Click Portrait Experiences may vary.
General Terms & Conditions
These general terms apply to Click Portrait Experiences unless different or additional terms are stated as part of a particular promotion, voucher or offer.
Participating Studios
All participating Click Portrait Experiences studios are independent businesses and are responsible for the photography services they provide.
The availability of individual experiences varies between studios. If your nearest studio does not provide your chosen experience, you may be offered an alternative participating studio where available.
Studio facilities, accessibility, photographic styles, backgrounds, props, products and services may vary.
Booking Your Experience
All experiences must be booked in advance directly with the participating studio.
Bookings are subject to availability and we recommend booking as early as possible, particularly if your voucher or experience has an expiry date.
You must provide accurate contact information when booking so that the studio can contact you regarding your appointment.
The person making the booking must be aged 18 or over.
Where children or young people are being photographed, a parent or legal guardian may be required to attend. Individual experiences may have additional age restrictions, which will be stated in the relevant terms or communicated by the studio.
Booking Deposits
A fully refundable booking deposit of £35 is required to secure your photography appointment.
The deposit will either be refunded to you or can be deducted from any additional photographs or products you choose to purchase at your viewing appointment.
The £35 deposit may be retained if you fail to attend your appointment or cancel or rearrange without providing at least 3 days’ notice before your scheduled session.
The booking deposit is separate from any optional purchase of photographs or photographic products. There is no obligation to purchase additional images or products.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, please contact the studio as soon as possible.
Each studio operates its own cancellation and rescheduling policy and will explain this when your appointment is booked.
Repeated cancellations, late cancellations or failure to attend an appointment may result in the loss of your booking deposit and/or the cancellation of your experience.
Your Photography Session
The exact format, duration and content of your session may vary between studios.
Where an experience requires particular clothing, accessories, props, participants or preparation, your studio will provide further information before your appointment.
The photographer retains professional and creative discretion over the photographs taken, including posing, lighting, backgrounds and image selection, while taking reasonable account of requests discussed before or during the session.
The number of photographs taken during a session does not represent the number of photographs included within an offer.
Viewing Your Photographs
Some studios may offer a viewing immediately after your photography session, while others will arrange a separate viewing appointment or online gallery.
Your studio will explain its viewing process before or at the time of your session.
Where a separate viewing appointment is required, all people involved in making purchasing decisions are encouraged to attend wherever possible.
What’s Included
The photographs, prints, products, vouchers or credit included with your experience will be stated in the individual offer or promotion.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, additional photographs, digital images, prints, albums, wall art and other photographic products are not included but may be available to purchase directly from the studio.
There is no obligation to make additional purchases.
Prices for additional photographs and products are set by the individual studio and may vary between participating studios. We recommend asking your studio for its current price information before your photography session.
Complimentary photographs, prints, products or credits included within an experience cannot normally be exchanged for cash.
Vouchers & Promotional Experiences
Unless the individual offer states otherwise:
- Click Portrait Experience vouchers and promotional offers cannot be used in conjunction with another offer or promotion.
- Experiences have no cash alternative.
- Experiences and complimentary products cannot be exchanged for their cash value.
- Only one promotional Click Portrait Experience may normally be redeemed by the same person or household within a 12-month period.
- Vouchers must be redeemed within any validity period shown on the voucher or promotional material.
- Vouchers may not be resold or used for commercial purposes.
Click Portrait Experiences reserves the right to refuse vouchers that have been altered, copied, fraudulently obtained, resold contrary to their terms or are otherwise invalid.
Independent Studios
Participating studios are independent businesses and are responsible for the photography and any associated services they provide, including hair, make-up or beauty services where applicable.
Any contract for additional photographs, products or services purchased directly from a studio is between you and that studio and will be subject to the studio’s own terms and conditions.
Nothing within these terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
Personal Belongings & Safety
Please take reasonable care of your belongings while visiting a participating studio.
Clients must follow reasonable safety instructions provided by the photographer or studio, particularly where babies, children or animals are involved.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children attending the studio except where the photographer is specifically directing them as part of the photography session.
Pet owners remain responsible for the behaviour and control of their animals while attending a participating studio.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Experience-Specific Terms
The following conditions apply in addition to the General Terms & Conditions above.
Boudoir
A Boudoir Portrait Experience includes a professional boudoir photography session using your own lingerie, outfits and accessories unless otherwise agreed with the studio.
Participants must be aged 25 or over.
Click Portrait Experience Boudoir sessions do not include semi-nude or artistic nude photography.
Only one promotional Boudoir Portrait Experience may be redeemed per person within a 12-month period.
Hair, make-up and beauty services are only included where specifically stated within your individual offer.
Boudoir Couples
A Boudoir Couples Experience is designed for two adults and includes a professional boudoir photography session using your own lingerie, outfits and accessories unless otherwise agreed.
Both participants must be aged 25 or over.
Click Portrait Experience Boudoir sessions do not include semi-nude or artistic nude photography.
Only one promotional Boudoir Couples Experience may be redeemed per person within a 12-month period.
CAPOW
CAPOW is a themed portrait experience. The exact format and styling available may vary between participating studios.
The minimum age is normally 5 years, although individual studios may set different age requirements depending on their facilities and the style of photography offered.
Children and young people must attend with a parent or legal guardian where required by the studio.
Only one promotional CAPOW experience may be redeemed per household within a 12-month period.
Bump to Baby
The Bump to Baby experience is designed to capture maternity and/or the early stages of your baby’s life.
The exact number and timing of sessions included will be stated within your individual offer.
Where a second baby session is included, your studio will advise you of the recommended age or timing for this session.
The booking must be made by someone aged 18 or over.
Only one promotional Bump to Baby experience may be redeemed per person or household within a 12-month period unless otherwise stated in the offer.
Couples Photoshoot
This experience is for two people attending a professional portrait session together.
The booking must be made by someone aged 18 or over.
Only one promotional Couples Portrait Experience may be redeemed per household within a 12-month period.
Enchanted Photoshoot
The Enchanted Photoshoot is a themed children’s portrait experience.
Where a voucher or offer is for two or more children, the participating children must be siblings unless the studio has agreed otherwise in advance.
Age requirements may vary depending on the studio and the style of session offered.
A parent or legal guardian must attend with children where required.
Only one promotional Enchanted Portrait Experience may be redeemed per child within a 12-month period.
Family Photoshoot
A Family Portrait Experience is intended for a family group and normally requires at least two generations or three family members to attend.
If you are unsure whether your group qualifies, please check with your participating studio before booking.
The booking must be made by someone aged 18 or over.
Only one promotional Family Portrait Experience may be redeemed per household within a 12-month period.
Child & Sibling Photoshoot
The Child & Sibling Photoshoot is available for children aged approximately 12 months and over unless your participating studio specifies otherwise.
A parent or legal guardian must make the booking and attend where required.
Only one promotional Child & Sibling Portrait Experience may be redeemed per household within a 12-month period.
My First Year Photoshoot
My First Year is designed to capture different stages during your baby’s first year.
The experience may include up to three sessions during a 12-month period. The recommended ages and timing of these sessions will be agreed with your participating studio and may vary according to the package or promotion booked.
The booking must be made by a parent or legal guardian aged 18 or over.
Only one promotional My First Year Experience may be redeemed per household within a 12-month period.
Pet Photoshoot
Pet Portrait Experiences may include your pet photographed alone or, where agreed with the studio, alongside members of your family.
The types and number of animals that can be accommodated vary between studios. Please discuss this with your studio before booking.
Owners are responsible for the behaviour, supervision and control of their animals at all times while attending the studio.
Studios reserve the right to stop or modify a session if an animal’s behaviour presents a risk to the animal, photographer, other people or studio equipment.
Where the experience is being used as a Family Portrait Experience, the normal Family Photoshoot requirements may also apply.
Couples Makeover
The Couples Makeover Experience is designed for two people and may include professional hair and/or make-up where specified within the offer.
The exact makeover services available vary between participating studios.
Both participants must meet any minimum age requirements communicated by the studio.
Makeover for One
The Makeover for One Experience is designed for one participant and may include professional hair and/or make-up where specified within the offer.
The exact makeover services and photography experience vary between participating studios.
Makeover for Two
The Makeover for Two Experience is designed for two participants attending together and may include professional hair and/or make-up where specified within the offer.
The exact makeover services and photography experience vary between participating studios.
Mother & Daughter
The Mother & Daughter Experience is designed for a mother and daughter to be photographed together.
Where the daughter is under 18, the mother or another person with parental responsibility must provide any consent required for the photography session.
Hair and/or make-up services are only included where specifically stated within the offer.
Teen Makeover
The Teen Makeover Experience is designed for teenagers aged 13–17.
A parent or legal guardian must make the booking and must accompany the teenager to the studio.
Any hair, make-up or styling provided will be appropriate for the participant’s age and will vary between participating studios.
Swagger Male Makeover
The Swagger Experience is a male portrait experience using the participant’s own outfits and accessories unless otherwise agreed with the studio.
Participants must be aged 18 or over.
Click Portrait Experience Swagger sessions do not include semi-nude or artistic nude photography.
Only one promotional Swagger Experience may be redeemed per person within a 12-month period.
Changes to Experiences
Click Portrait Experiences may occasionally change, replace or withdraw an experience or participating studio.
Where circumstances outside our reasonable control mean that the exact experience or location originally offered is unavailable, we will aim to provide a suitable alternative where reasonably possible.
These terms may be updated from time to time. The terms applying to your booking will be those in force when your experience is booked, together with any additional terms supplied by your participating studio.
Your Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to restrict or exclude any rights you have under applicable UK consumer law.
